After breakfast at the Lodge, you will depart for Arusha National Park, situated in the northeastern region of Tanzania. The park is small but varied with spectacular landscapes in three distinct areas. In the west, the Meru Crater funnels the Jekukumia River. The peak of Mount Meru lies on its rim providing a mountain climbing experience. Ngurdoto Crater in the southeast is grassland. The shallow alkaline Momella Lakes in the northeast have varying algae colors and are known for their wading birds. The presence of these lakes offers you canoeing, with magnificent views of the lake with the most outstanding number of flamingoes and other water birds. You will also experience a walking safari during this tour accompanied by an armed ranger. A game drive around the park will give you an unforgettable experience as you come across a lot of wild animals. After your experience in Arusha National Park, your personal guide will drive you to your accommodation in Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay.
