Upon your pleasant arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will meet and greet with our representative. Later, he will collect you and transfer you to Arusha for your accommodation. It is an hour’s drive from the airport to your lodge. Enjoy some rest in your accommodation while waiting for your safari the following day.

After breakfast at the Lodge in Arusha, depart for Tarangire, Tanzania’s third-largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and up to six thousand elephants. Enjoy a game drive with a picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at your accommodation.

After your breakfast at the camp, we’ll drive to Seronera for a full day game drive at the central part of Serengeti still viewing the great migration. Late in the afternoon, we’ll drive back to the lodge for your dinner and overnight.

The park is well known for its healthy stock of other resident wildlife, particularly the big five named for the five most prized trophies taken by hunters: Lion: the Serengeti is believed to hold the largest population of lions in Africa due in part to the abundance of prey species. More than 3,000 lions live in this ecosystem. African Leopard: these reclusive predators are commonly seen in the Seronera region but are present throughout the national park with the population of around 1,000. African Elephant.

After breakfast at your accommodation in the Central Serengeti, you will depart to Ngorongoro conservation while game en-route for the Maasai village tour, The Maasai are an extraordinary people with an even more extraordinary culture. They have lived in areas of Tanzania and Kenya for hundreds of years and graze their precious cattle in both countries even today. Originating from ancient lands and simpler times the Maasai can trace themselves back hundreds of years. But the way they live today still reflects both when and where they came from. Maasai culture is unique, and their customs are sometimes thought of as controversial. But their story is a very human one. Dinner and overnight will be inside the Ngorongoro conservation area.

After breakfast at the Lodge, you will head out straight to descend the Crater for the Crater tour, This UNESCO World Heritage Site formed millions of years ago, is 600 m deep and covers roughly 260 sq km. Due to its dense animal population of approximately 25 000, the crater offers the best game viewing of all the parks in Tanzania. You will arrive at the crater rim before lunch. You will descend into the crater and in a matter of minutes, you will be able to see wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, elephants and some of the more than 500 bird species in the area. With a little bit of luck, you might catch a glimpse of the endangered black rhino through the grass. After having a picnic lunch which will be carried from your accommodation, you will have a full afternoon inside the crater You will then ascend the crater and head straight to your accommodations in Karatu for your dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, we’ll drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive and in the afternoon,   drive back to Arusha for your drop off at the Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight to your other destination or back home.

Manyara provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife. More than 400 species have been recorded, and even a first-time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 100 of these in one day. Inland of the floodplain, a narrow belt of acacia woodland is the favored haunt of Manyara’s legendary tree-climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants, after the full day game drive you will drive straight to Arusha for your flight back home or to your next destination as per your schedule.
