After a pleasant arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha airport, you will be welcomed by one of the Sopai Safaris representatives who will initially meet and greet you. After a short introduction of himself, he will transfer you to your dedicated hotel within Arusha City for your night stay.

After breakfast at your accommodation in Arusha, depart for Tarangire National Park which is Tanzania’s third largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lions, leopards, cheetahs and up to six thousand elephants. Enjoy game drives with a picnic lunch. After lunch and an extensive game drive inside the park, we will drive straight to your accommodation in Karatu for dinner and your overnight stay.

Breakfast at Eileens Trees In, collect your lunch boxes and drive straight to Ngorongoro Crater, ascending the crater for the full day game drive and photography, The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is the largest unbroken, unflooded volcanic caldera in the world. It is a scenic showstopper that extends across an astonishing 260 square kilometres. The crater is hemmed in on all sides by sheer craggy walls that rise up to 600m above the floor. The view from the lushly forested rim is utterly stupendous and would justify a visit to Ngorongoro in its own right. But this spectacular crater also stands as one of Africa’s most alluring safari destinations, supporting solid populations of all of the Big Five (elephant, lion, leopard, black rhino and buffalo), plus a host of other iconic large mammals, in a lush and scenic landscape that frequently draws comparisons to the metaphorical “Garden of Eden” after an extensive gme drive at the crater, you will drive straight to Arusha to Catch your flight to Stone town Zanzibar for your beach holiday.

You will be spending the full 3 nights at Pongwe, Pongwe Beach has an offshore reef, which keeps waters calm and good for swimming when the tide is low. The white sand is rich and soft, and a grove of coconut palm trees line the back to provide shade. There are hammocks and woven sunbeds, and the hotel offers gear for fishing, snorkeling, and kayaking.
