After pleasant arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be driving to Ngorongoro Crater with your packed lunch boxes, The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtakingly beautiful setting and the best place in East Africa to see the Big Five. It is a great way to start your African safari adventure. However, as one of the world's most astonishing and renowned natural wonders, the Ngorongoro Crater does get busy, and at times very busy. Due to the crowds we recommend a two-night stay only here, then moving on to the Serengeti for a quieter, more private safari experience. Dinner and povernight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge

On this day, after breakfast you will be driving to Ngorongoro Crater, ascending the Crater for game viewing and photography. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the Largest Unbroken Calderas on the Planet with over 25,000 Wild Creatures in the Caldera More Prides Per Capita than Anywhere on Earth. The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtakingly beautiful setting and the best place in East Africa to see the Big Five, Lions, Leopard, Black Rhino, Elephants, and Buffalo. It is one of the world’s most astonishing and among the 8th wonders of the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The black rhino can easily be sighted in the crater. Think of another place in the world where you can see such a unique setting with diverse scenery, prolific wildlife and birdlife, and an ecosystem like no other. After game driving you will be ascending the Crater and drive straight to Arusha to catch your flight to Zanzibar or onwards destination.

Tour packages are confirmed upon receipt of a 10% deposit of the total cost of the package. Balance payable in full by cash (dollars) upon arrival or 7 days prior to arrival if paid via credit card with a surcharge of 3% or via wire transfer with a surcharge of 4%.
